Personal Biography: Judy Greengold, MSN, CRNP, BFA, FNP-C is a seasoned Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner. She aims to leverage her expertise as a nationally recognized leader in telehealth and primary care to rigorously design, develop, and research practices in the strategic and safe use of telehealth to bring the highest levels of care, access, and equity to the communities we serve. As Director of the Johns Hopkins Telemedicine Education Consortium, Judy works with a team of faculty to research and develop evidence-based guidelines to promote the highest quality of virtual care. As faculty of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety, she leads research and interprofessional collaborations to reduce medical error, improve communication among health care teams, and reduce disparities in healthcare. As an Armstrong Institute Patient Safety and Leadership Fellow, she utilized a Lean Sigma-driven approach to maximize telemedicine-based hypertension care continuity workflow. Her grant-funded research has investigated the impact of different educational modalities to improve telemedicine clinical skills, enhance HPV vaccination rates in primary care, and prepare the telemedicine workforce effectively to support patient-centric care. Judy is a proud alum of Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing (Merit Scholar, Fuld Fellow) and New York University Tisch School of the Arts (Trustees Scholar). She is a sought after invited speaker for local, regional, and national conferences on various health topics including telemedicine, diagnostic precision, weight management, and pharmacology. She is honored to pursue her PhD at the University of Miami School of Nursing & Health Sciences researching gaps and opportunities on improving equity, education, and innovation in health technologies.
