Personal biography: Khulud Khalid Almutairi, MSN, FNP, RN, and BSN is an international student from Saudi Arabia. Mrs. Almutairi was born and raised in Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia. In 2013, she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from King Saud University. In 2019 she procured a Master of Science Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Miami. Mrs. Almutairi has clinical experience working with cardiac patients as a registered nurse in the King Faisal Hospital and King Khalid University Hospital. Currently, she is a clinical instructor at King Saud University Nursing School. She taught courses including Fundamentals of Nursing, Advanced Technology in Nursing Practice, Health Assessment, and Adult Health Nursing to BSN students and guided and supervised students in the Medical-Surgical unit and Critical Care unit. She has led or participated in projects related to developing electronic health records, creating a mobile clinic, establishing an OSCE website and creating Arabic language digital media for nursing education. Almutairi is a proud recipient of the following honors: The Ideal Student from King Saud University in 2013, Best Intern Performance in King Faisal Hospital and Research Center in 2014, and Best Knowledge & Patient Advocate Nurse Intern in 2014. Her field of research interest is in promoting cardiac patient outcome care in Saudi Arabia. Almutairi aspires to become an educator, leader, and researcher.
